Baby Gear Drive Thru? Yes, please.

Hello, hello!! Long time no talk! AH! You know how it goes… Mom Life.

Even though my kiddos are 3 1/2 and 2 1/2, I find myself STILL browsing baby gear websites and needing all the new goodies!!! The struggle is real my friends. I’ve said it more than once, I am strolling my son into his College dorm in a stroller… I just can’t give them up.

Anyways… during my most recent stint of insomnia, I stumbled upon It’s a super cute website featuring all the latest and greatest in the baby gear world. Awesome. But a little icon appeared that said “Free shipping. We price match”. Those are two things I love. I can’t help it. I love a good deal! I mean, they even price match Amazon. #sold

After browsing their website and seeing some super cool things they do that made me sad I don’t live in Utah… or have an infant. First off, they have DRIVE UP ORDERING. Yes. It’s like a drive thru for baby gear. I mean… can we talk about it!!  As if that wasn’t enough to make every Mom jump for joy, they also have a TRACK inside of their store to test strollers!!!! If I walked into this store, it would be a disaster. I would be in there for hours just running around the track all day testing every stroller possible. How awesome is that though? It’s so hard to get a feel for a stroller pushing it through tiny isles in a crowded baby store. A track is GENIUS.

Ok, back to what I came here to do! I thought I would pop back in and share a few of my fave picks from their website for new parents! Finding the perfect gear can be a daunting task… hopefully this will make it a little easier… if it doesn’t, scroll down and let Baby Cubby do the picking FOR YOU!

  1. DaVinci Jenny Lind Stationary Crib with Toddler Rail – So so so cute!!! It converts into a toddler bed and a day bed, has 4 adjustable mattress positions and is finished in non-toxic multi-step painting process. I am totally in love with this crib!!

2. Clek Fllo Convertible Car Seat – If you have ben doing any research on Car Seats and safety, you have definitely seen the Clek! This Car Seat is AMAZING. It can be used from 5 lbs (with the Clek insert) up to 65 lbs! I cannot say enough great things about this Car Seat. Go to Baby Cubby and check it out!!!

3. Stokke Tripp Trapp – This thing is the bomb. It’s cute, lasts FOREVER, and is easy to wipe clean. I don’t think I need to say anything else. ha!

4. Ju Ju Be B.F.F. Diaper Bag – Saved the best for last. THEY CARRY JU JU BE!!!  I LOVE JJB. For so many reasons!! Machine washable (if you don’t think this is important, talk to me when your kid has its first blowout diaper), cute, fictional, lot’s of pockets. I love pockets. Do yourself a favor and waddle your pregnant self into this store and shop your heart out.

If you don’t love any of my picks… that’s cool. No hard feelings. Baby Cubby can help you with that because they also offer Baby Gear Bundles. I can’t even. I would have done this is a hot second when I was pregnant! Literally takes the guess-work out and they pretty much do everything short of delivering your baby for you. If they could do that, I would for sure have another child…

Do yourself a favor and visit this store or their website. I love everything they carry! They have researched these products, and make sure us parents are getting quality products we will love!   They have an awesome community blog with tons of info to help you stay in-the-know  during those sleepless nights, too!

Happy Strolling, friends!

ATST Holiday Gift Guide 2015

Ho, ho, ho! The Holiday season is here, and that means it’s time to stop procrastinating, and start shopping! #haventboughtonethingyet #theresstilltime

This post is dedicated to all those Husbands (hey babe, make sure you read this!!) out there trying to figure out what in the hell to get their Baby Gear loving Wife for the Holidays. Have no fear gentlemen, I’ve got you covered!!

  1.   Ju Ju Be Super Be in First Lady ($60.00)

The Ju-Ju-Be Super Be is probably my favorite bag they have. It’s so roomy and versatile, every Mama needs one in her collection! You can use this as a diaper bag, over night bag, gym bag, work, bag, etc. The possibilities are endless! The Super Be comes in so many fun prints, but, my favorite is the First Lady! Black and white stripes never go out of style are a great way to make our “Mom Dress Code” (aka yoga pants and a messy bun) look a little  more put together!

2. Thule Urban Glide or Urban Glide 2 ($399.95 single and $649.95 double on Amazon)

Thule is on this list for a few reasons. 1. It’s starting to snow and it’s freakishly cold outside. It sucks. Sometime around March your wife will decide that she wants to get active, get outside and go for a run with the kids. This will most likely never happen (or maybe I’m just the only lazy one)… BUT, it’s still nice to have the option and a stroller that candle snowy terrains!  2. The basket has a zippered cover that keeps everything safe and protected from not so great weather! Love that! 3. It’s really pretty!  Yes, that is a real reason. The Urban Glide or Urban Glide 2 are even great for every day use because they’re fairly light weight, easy to fold, and can handle anything from errands to a long run in the frigid cold.

3. 7AM Polar WarMMuffs  ($44.00)

Winter is here and it’s here to stay. Keep those hands toasty warm while you’re pushing the little one around in this miserable weather. I love this as a gift for Moms and Dads because it’s probably not something you would typically get for yourself. This is one of those gifts you’ll get, and wonder how you ever lived without them!

4.  Nuna Leaf ($229.95)

The Nuna Leaf is a super cozy bouncer for your baby…or even toddler! It’s compact so it doesn’t take up too much space, and it will actually look great in your living room! Plus, it holds up to 130 lbs!!! Talk about bang for your buck. Toddlers can sit in this seat and be totally comfortable! Hell, I can sit in the seat and be comfortable! A safe, comfortable place for your child to sit is a must have! How else are you suppose to go to the bathroom alone!?!  #justaddedthistomychristmaslist

5. UPPAbaby G-LINK ($499.99 – $529.00)

Yesssssssss! The G-LINK is here!! It’s new and everyone with two kids wants one!! This little gem weighs in at 24.5 lbs, each seat holds up to 50 lbs, has independent flat reclines, can be used from birth (comes with two infant head supports), AND folds in one easy step! Make running errands with the babes a little easier for everyone and pre-order the UPPAbaby G-LINK!! #justdoit

6. Wine

Do I even need to explain myself here? To make this gift extra special, get THIS super amazing wine tumblr…

7. Ju Ju Be Be Prepared ( $200.00)

If you are in the market for a new diaper bag, travel bag, or overnight/hospital bag, the Be Prepared is just what you’ve been looking for. It’s BIG!! There are so many pockets to keep the bag organized, and a Mommy Pocket for all of your Mommy needs. I love this bag so much! It’s every over-packers dream bag! The pockets keep everything in its place and my OCD self happy. If you want to bring everything and the kitchen sink with you when you leave the house, the Be Prepared is for you. It’s a winner for sure!

8. Hunter Boots ($150.00)

Like how put these one on here, ladies? These are a total necessity! Sloshing through the snow with two kids is a nightmare. Especially when your boots are getting all wet, and snow is getting inside! Hunter Boots are perfect for winter. Just pair them with their fleece liners and you have super cute, easy to clean winter boots! Plus, grab these in red and pair them with that First Lady Super Be or Queen of the Nile Ju-Ju-Be above and you are looking like one hot mama!!

9. Nuna Tavo ($349.95)

Clearly, I have a thing for Nuna. I know I’m not alone though! The Nuna Tavo is a new light weight stroller that has everything you’re looking for.  Super flat recline, spacious seat that holds up to 50 lbs, large basket, compact fold, and easy-peasy push! I’ll take one in every color, please! Any stroller loving Mama (or Dad) will absolutely love adding the Tavo to their line-up.

10. Tula Baby Carrier ($149.00)

Caw, Caw!! Tula in the Wild!!! If you are a Tula lover, you know what that was all about. If you’re not, then you probably think I’ve officially lost my mind! I LOVE, like, seriously love, Tulas! They are soooo comfortable and come in the most adorable prints and colors! How cute is the “enDEERing” print pictured!? Tulas are Ergonomic Baby Carriers. They come in Standard and Toddler size, and are comfortable for the kids and leave your back, pain-free. If you get one baby carrier, make it this one. You won’t regret it!

11. Bugaboo Donkey (I refuse to put the price as it may deter the Husbands from buying…LOL)

If you really want to splurge on a gift for your loved one, this would be the ultimate baby gear gift. If you’ve gone one child, this stroller is one bad mama jama! There’s an awesome side basket you use in mono mode that’s pretty life changing. If you’ve got two kids, the Donkey in Duo mode is arguably the best double stroller on the market. Buy this stroller and your wife will be the happiest baby gear addict on the planet! #lovehasnopricetag #buythedonkey

Any of the above would make a great gift for any Baby Gear lover! A glass of wine while opening up a new  Ju-Ju-Be bag or UPPAbaby G-LINK? Yes please!!!! Whatever gift you decide on, make it your own and add a little special touch to it 😉

Wishing you all Happy Holidays spent with the ones you love!

Happy Strolling

Double Strollers – ATST’s Honor Roll

Hi Guys! I’m back with my favorite double strollers (I’ve used each one on the list) that are here to make your life with two or more a bit easier!

What makes a double stroller great? A few things…  1) It must have an easy fold. Grocery shopping with two kids is bad enough.  I don’t want to fight my stroller in the parking lot to fold it.  2) It needs to be comfortable for your little riders. After all, you bought it for them…right? (this is not true. I buy strollers because I like them. #notashamed). 3) It must have a one hand push . I don’t know about you guys, but I am a big fan of the push and pull. I.E. push the stroller with my right hand and pull the shopping cart behind me with my left.  It’s the only way!  If I can’t maneuver a stroller with one hand,  it’s gone.  4)  It needs to have ample storage space.  Two kids = A LOT of $h%I.

So, without further ado…

  1. UPPAbaby Vista – 2015

Grade: A+

Price: $989.98 (silver frame) – $1039.98 (carbon frame)

Weight: 33.5 lbs (with both seats)

Max Weight Capacity: 50 lbs Main seat – 35 lbs RumbleSeat

Fold: Super easy fold with both seats

Dimensions: Unfolded: 26.5”W x 37”L x 39.5”H – Folded with seat second attached: 26.5”W x 14”L x 33”H

What makes it great: The fact that this stroller is just as good as a double as it is a single makes it amazing. I love everything about the 2015 Vista! As a double, you don’t compromise the push, fold, or storage space. That’s not always the case when it comes to a convertible stroller. Each seat has large extendable canopies , easy one hand reclines, and a million and one seating configurations. Plus, I could probably fit in the storage basket. It’s fab, and worth the price tag!

2. Mountain Buggy Duet

Grade: A+

Price: $599

Fold: So easy it will blow your mind.

Dimensions: Only 25 inches wide!!!!

WeightL 33 lbs

Max Weight Capacity: 40 lbs per seats

What makes it great: Ummm, it’s 25 inches wide. Need I say more? The MB Duet is overall the best side by side double available right now. It’s narrow, has a crazy easy fold, doesn’t weigh a million pounds,  and decent storage space. I could go on and on. It rocks! Want a side by side that can handle it all? This is your stroller.

3. Contours Options Elite

Grade: A

Price: $299.95

Fold: Simple one piece fold

Dimensions: Folded 15″ L x 22.13″ W x 36.75″ H  – Unfolded: 49.5″ L x 26″ W x 39.8″ H

Weight: 38 lbs

Max Weight Capacity: 90 lbs

What makes it great: Everything. It’s no secret I am a huge fan of the COE! Why am I such a big fan? Because a company finally listened to parents and made a tandem double stroller that is not only awesome, but AFFORDABLE! The COE (Contours Options Elite if you haven’t caught on yet) has a great push, large storage basket with easy access, enough space between seats so the kids aren’t kicking each other and large extendable canopies (with mesh inserts!). I also love a small feature you may not notice as first glance…the seats have a little mesh pocket attached which is perfect for holding toys, binkies, etc.  There is a certain tandem stroller out there that everyone and their mother has…I say step away from that beast and enter the world of the Contours Options Elite! You’ll love how functional it is! #COEfanforlife

4. Valco Snap Duo2

Grade: A+

Price: $499.99 – $579.99 (Tailormade pictured above)

Fold: Easy and flat!

Dimensions: Unfolded: 29.5″W x 30″L x 41″H  –  Folded: 29.5″W x 31″L x 13.25″H

Weight: 24 lbs

Max Weight Capacity: 44 lbs  in each seat

What makes it great: This bad boy weighs in at just under 24 lbs  making it the ultimate everyday or travel stroller. I love the easy one hand push, roomy seats for the kids (adjustable leg rests are a huge plus), and most of all, the fold! The fold is insanely compact and has a carry strap for easy handling.  Something else I love about the fold is that it folds into itself. This is perfect for travel! Who wants seat fabric getting all dirty during the flight? Not me.

5. Bugaboo Donkey aka The Donkey

Grade: A-

Price: expensive.

Fold: 2 step fold

Dimensions: 29″ in duo mode  –  Folded: 20.5 x 29 x 36.6”

Weight: 33.4 lbs

Max Weight Capacity: 37.5 lbs per seat

What makes it great:  It’s the Donkey!  It’s amazing and expensive. If you can swing it, get it!  Having the ability to parent face one child and forward face the other is somewhat priceless. The push is fabulous, the seating configurations are unbeatable, and again, it’s the Donkey.  I’m convinced that if you look at a Donkey for longer than 1 minute,  you will  catch Bugaboo fever. It’s real, and takes over quickly! You won’t sleep until you get that Donkey!

5. Thule Urban Glide 2

Grade: A

Price: $649.95

Fold: One hand and compact

Weight: 32 lbs

Max Weight Capacity: 100 lbs total

DImensions: Folded – 35 in x 30.75 in x 14 in  (seat  back height 21 inch)

What make it great: The Thule Urban Glide 2 is probably the prettiest jogging stroller on the market. The design is super sleek and it’s fairly light weight for a jogger.  It makes me want to wear lululemon every day and take up running (I am way too lazy for that so I’ll just stick to aggressive mall walking).  The front wheel on the Thule is lockable, and features rear suspension for a super smooth ride. The storage basket is awesome and actually has a water-resistant zip top cover to keep all your belonging safe and secure while on the go! If you need a double stroller that can handle anything from a 10 mile run to a quick Target trip, the Thule Urban Glide 2 might be the perfect pick for you!

And there you have it! The best double strollers on the market…for now at least…

Rumor has it a few amazing doubles are coming out at the end of the year. **Cough, Cough, UPPAbaby G-LINK and Peg Perego Book for Two**  <— CAN’T WAIT!!

Congrats on making ATST’s honor roll!

Happy Strolling

Baby Jogger Summit X3

Sometime around March, I decided I needed a jogging stroller so I could run with the kids.  I don’t run.  Unless It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I run for that.

When I was look at jogging strollers, my first thought was that we needed a BOB Duallie.  Bought a BOB Duallie only to realize I couldn’t see over the stroller with the canopies extended.  The last thing I need is to run over a small animal on my “run” with the kids…

After doing some research, I decided the perfect double jogger for us was the Baby Jogger Summit X3 Double.  I have to say, I was more than impressed with the X3.  It was incredibly easy to run with (run may be an exaggeration but In my mind I looked like an Olympic athlete), has huge canopies with peek-a-boo windows AND a side flap that clips up revealing a mesh insert for extra ventilation.  I’m all about ventilation. There is nothing worse than an overheated toddler screaming to let them out of the stroller.

The X3 double features rear air-filled tires and a swivel front, lockable wheel.  Heading down a trail? Lock that front wheel and you’re golden.

The seats are spacious and comfortable for the littles.  We took ours to Sea World and both kids were content and napped like the perfect little angels they are…yeah right.  They weren’t Angels, but they were content…for the most part.

The summit has some really great features you may not know about… Remember the front swivel wheel?  Well, Baby Jogger added a lever to the right of the handle bar that locks the front wheel in place making it super simple to toggle from swivel to locked.  Very convenient for all you adventurous folks out there!  Along with the lever to lock the wheel, you have a hand break as well if you need it.

Sometime around March when I decided I was going to start running… I was clearly out of my mind.

Considering this is a jogger, I was totally impressed with the basket and fold.  The basket is pretty large and easy to reach. Much easier than the City Mini series of strollers by Baby Jogger.  They also kept their famous easy flat fold with the Summit, which I LOVE!

All in all, I really like the Summit X3 Double as a jogger. My major complaints are the size and weight. Although it’s big, I was still able to fit this through most doorways and it traveled back from Orlando like a champ. You really have to pick and choose your battles when it comes to double strollers. Baby Jogger is a reputable brand and known for their fantastic customer service. That’s something else to keep in mind when you are on the hunt for a new stroller.

If you’re the adventurous type and need a stroller that can keep up with your active lifestyle, the Baby Jogger Summit X3 Double is probably a great fit for you.  I’ve added a few for specs below, to help you out 🙂
