Well folks, I don’t know how to say this… but, I think I have reached the infamous Stroller Zen….
I’ve used the UPPAbaby VISTA every single day since I received it. Each day I wonder if I will find a major flaw… but I don’t. It’s AMAZING. It blows the competition out of the water in style, design, quality, and functionality. Here’s why…
The first thing that I said when I saw this beauty was “OMG, I’m in love”… HA! It’s the truth! It is absolutely gorgeous! It doesn’t matter what color you pick (although my favorite is Maya!) . It’s a seriously beautiful stroller!
The VISTA has a gorgeous stylish design, that features a crazy roomy toddler seat (seriously guys, it’s big. My 2 1/2-year-old has TONS of room in it), huge extendable canopy with SPF 50, large peek a boo windows, numerous recline and seating positions, a bumper bar, bassinet, and the most glorious basket you will ever lay your eyes on. By now, you know how important a storage basket is it to me… this basket is SO big, I fit almost a weeks worth of groceries in it. My Hubby was totally impressed!
Look at that basket!!!!
If the basket wasn’t already amazing enough, the back part is flexible so you can push it down for even easier access. #cantevenhandlealltheawesomeness
Upon first glance, you think the VISTA is your ordinary tandem double stroller (but much prettier!). Two seats, somewhat close together, that can only recline if the stars are aligned and your kids aren’t kicking the crap out of each other. Well, you’re wrong. That might be what you see…but… UPPAbaby decided to make Parents across the world love them even more (if that’s possible) and created Upper Adapters so both kids can actually nap in whatever direction they want. #gamechanger
When you get your Upper Adapters, you should give them a big ol’ kiss. They are about to change your life! Below are a few of my favorite seating variations while using the adapters…
Both Parent Facing – seats can full recline in this position
Both Facing out (note the distance between seats)
Main seat can fully recline while facing out with Upper Adapters
RumbleSeat forward facing while Main Seat is fully recline Parent-facing
Awesome, right? And what’s even better… It folds with BOTH seats while using (or not using) the Upper Adapters!! The VISTA folds in one piece when the RumbleSeat is in forward-facing mode in the fully upright position and toddler seat footrest is pushed down. I may or may not have had a little dance party when I realized this.
Folded with Upper Adapters
If you’ve made it this far, and don’t have your keys and wallet in hand to go get the 2015 Vista, this may seal the deal. The push is awesome…really awesome… like, push with my right hand and sip on a latte in my left hand kind of awesome… And that’s with my 32 lb toddler in the RumbleSeat.
I’ll pause for a moment while you read that again… I told you guys… Stroller Zen.
Everything about the 2015 UPPAbaby VISTA blows its competition out of the water. There’s just no comparison. Even if you’re on the fence because the RumbleSeat can only hold up to 35 lbs, it’s still the best convertible tandem stroller available. When I really think over the concern of the RumbleSeat, I have to realize that my son is 2 1/2 years old and 32 lbs. He has a long way to go until he hits the max weight on the RumbleSeat, and if I’m being realistic, he will probably won’t need a ride as often at that point (yeah right. Brody will be pulling up to his Freshman year of High School in a stroller…sorry dude! LOL ).
The rumble is clearly cozy…he napped for 2 hours!
I really played around with the seating between the two kids and have Harper in the RumbleSeat daily. She loves being in the front checking out all the scenery and waving to everyone that walks by! Too cute…
I was asked a few times if I felt “disconnected” from the child in the RumbleSeat, and the answer is no. When we’re out for a walk or running errands, I leave both peek a boo windows open which gives me a clear view to the front seat. Plus, I am always stopping to interact with the kids along the way. And by interact, I mean pick up the 50 Goldfish crackers they’ve dropped. As long as the kids are happy and comfortable, I’m happy!
I honestly cannot say enough great things about the 2015 VISTA. I’ll admit, I had a major concern with the Upper Adapters. Since I’m only 5’2″, I was worried that it would raise the seat too high, and I wouldn’t be able to maneuver the stroller as easily or see over the top. But, I was wrong….it’s a total nonissue.
I love the look of this stroller with the bassinet!
I don’t have the lower adapters, but you get the idea of the many seating variations for a newborn and toddler!
If I could change one thing about the UPPAbaby VISTA, It would be that the footrest on the rumble seat was adjustable. That’s a feature I love and use often. It’s not really a complaint, it’s just an added feature that would make an already AMAZING stroller absolute perfection!
One more thing I want to talk about is the Travel Safe program UPPAbaby offers. I know I’m not the only one who cringes when boarding a plane because of what could happen to your precious stroller! I’ve had a few horrendous experiences, and let me tell you, it’s not pretty. UPPAbaby offers a Travel Safe program for all of their strollers. If you purchase the Travel Bag and complete the registration form, your stroller is completely covered by UB should anything happen to it (while it’s in the bag) during air travel. This is HUGE and worth every penny!
The inside of the Travel Safe Bag shows a picture of how to place the stroller in.
Separate bag for rear wheels.
Fold the stroller, fold the footrest all the way under, and place into the bag.
Zip up and you are ready to go!
The entire process took me less than 5 minutes. Trust me, it’s worth those 5 minutes and few extra steps to make sure your stroller is in one piece when you get to your destination!

**Thank you UPPAbaby for sending us the 2015 Vista! I was not compensated for this review, and all opinions are my own.
